NADIS The Sanskrit word nadis refers to the lines of force forming intangible layers and networks of energy. They are the main substance of subtle bodies which surround each human being. The places where these lines or nadis are produced and at which they interact, are the chakras. The major chakras occur where many of these lines are produced and cross each other. There are many minor chakras at less busy crossing points.
